America´s First Black President!
Barack Hussein Obama II became the 44th president of the United States on the 20th of January, 2009. on this day, American history changed forever. America had its first black president. Barack Obama is an incredible man with an incredible story. His black father was from Kenya and his white mother was from Kansas. However, when Barack Obama was two, his father and mother got divorced. Despite this difficulty, he worked hard to better himself throughout school years. As a result, he entered Columbia University in New York. Then, he went to Harvard Law School. From then on, he continued to be successful. He became a state senator for Illinois. Then in 2008, he ran for the office of the President. At first many people thought he didn’t have a chance. But he became the first black president of America. He is different from many other world leaders. He did not become successful because of his parents, or because he was wealthy. But he became successful because of his intelligence, charismatic personality and hard work. So, it just goes to show that, if you believe, anything is possible!
