은혜로운 빛이 그대를 비추기를,
그대의 삶에도 그대의 영혼에도
With God's sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth like a turf fire,
That welcomes friends and strangers alike.,
하느님의 빛이 그대를 비추어,
친구나 낯선 사람이나 가리지 않는,
따스한 모닥불 같은 마음이 그대에게 피어나길,
May the Light of the Lord shine from your eyes
Like a candle in the window
Welcoming the weary traveler
창가에 비치는 촛불 같은
주님의 빛이 그대의 눈동자를 비추어
지친 나그네를 반겨맞을 수 있기를
May the blessing of God's soft rain be on you
Falling gently on your head
Refreshing your soul
With the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming
하느님의 부드러운 은총이 그대를 축복하기를
하느님의 은총이 그대 위에 잔잔히 내려앉아
새롭게 피어나는 작은 꽃들의 싱그러움처럼
그대의 영혼을 새롭게 하시길
May the strength of the winds of Heaven bless you
Carrying the rain to wash your spirit clean
Sparkling after in the sunlight
하느님의 강하신 능력이 그대를 축복하기를
그리하여 그대 영혼의 빗물을 씻겨 주시고
햇살이 피어나게 하시기를
May the blessing of God's Earth be on you
And as you walk the roads
May you always have a kind word
For those you meet
하느님의 나라가 그대와 함께 하기를
그리하여 그대가 길을 걸을 때
만나는 모든 이에게
언제나 친절한 말로 대하기를
May you understand the strength and power of God
In a thunderstorm in winter
And the quiet beauty of creation
In the calm of a Summer sunset
겨울날 천둥번개 속에서
하느님의 능력과 권능을 깨달을 수 있기를
또한 여름날의 고요한 석양 속에서
창조의 아름다움을 느낄 수 있기를
And may you come to realize that
Insignificant as you may seem
In this great universe
You "are"
An import!!!ant part of God's plan
그리하여 이 위대한 우주속에서
자신이 아주 보잘 것 없는 존재처럼
느껴진다 하여도
그대는 바로 하느님의 섭리 안에서
중요한 부분임을 기억하시기를
May He watch over you
And keep you safe
From harm
하느님께서 그대를
모든 위험으로부터
지켜 주시고 보호하여 주시기를
